It is time, then, for episode 2 of Shart Select, gaming’s tattiest and most dangerous podcast. It’s like a rusty piece of metal in the hands of a toddler! So what can you expect to hear about in this lovely second meeting of minds? Let us find out!
What have we been playing?
Stuart: Stu has been getting on his Twitch game since our last meeting (find out where at the top of the article!) and has been filling the internet with gameplay footage of Dice’s Battlefield V and the new Magic: the Gathering game, making use of the years he spent purchasing very expensive cards. He’s also been dallying around Ancient Greece in Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey, admiring the waxy, houmous-less populace.
Ryan: Ryan has also been knocking about the lands of Athens and SPARTA (!!) in AC: Odyssey, a rare event of the brothers Egerton synchronizing like some terrible machine. He’s also reactivated his World of Warcraft account, thanks to us mentioning it way back in the first episode, reuniting with his old pal Skarrgan to fight the Alliance and other such activities. He also had a go at Phantom Doctrine (not Dog Train much to our disappointment), a game with XCOM- like features, which Ryan loves almost as much as Skarrgan! He also got up to some Ninja hijinks in Aragami, which sounds very sneaky!
Winst0lf: What have I been up to, then? Well I’ve been playing that most Japanese-y of JRPGs, Persona 5. I’ve also been kicking some zombie ass, if only for half an hour, on the Resident Evil 2 Remake demo, which has got me very excited for the full game, let me tell you! Finally I’ve been playing some Super Mario Odyssey (not set in Ancient Greece) on my shiny new Switch, which is a brilliant dose of 90’s platformer style action. Tom Jones wouldn’t like it though, Mario keeps taking his hat off.
Whats Skarrgan been doing?
Ryan told us all about Skarrgan’s adventures, which was nice and all. But more interesting still is the real reason that he’s so in to Warcraft. All I can say is, oh lawd they comin’…

My rubbish old backup phone died as I was getting news (I know, excuses, excuses) but we still got a few things to talk about. I expect to be subpoena’d to court any time soon thanks to this section though. Goodbye, cruel world.
